Bubbleology Research International (BRI) is a small, growing, cutting-edge environmental technology company seeking a research intern to work under and help our business development manager to expand our customer base for one of our product lines related to air quality monitoring. Potential clients include utility companies, refineries, air quality agencies, disaster responders, etc.

Open positions:

Sales Manager (Hiring now)

BRI is seeking a sales manager to expand our customer base for one of our product lines related to air quality monitoring. Potential clients include utility companies, refineries, air quality agencies, disaster responders, etc.

Currently the product line is based on sales and leasing (we have an existing Fortune500 client); however, we plan to add expandability and service contracts to the product line.

The sales manager will manage relevant marketing efforts at trade shows, print media, and social media, coordinating marketing efforts with our social media coordinator and supervising a marketing intern. The sales manager will be expected to screen potential clients and identify potential strategic partners.

The successful applicant must have experience in sales development, including closing sales and contract negotiation, technical sales, and technical client support. The manager will be expected to add additional products lines including novel technologies under development to his / her portfolio.

We are not looking for experience in software sales.

BRI has developed a range of world-class, unique technologies related to monitoring air and marine pollution from sensor to in situ to satellite remote sensing, providing significant growth opportunities for the successful applicant.

Compensation will be a combination of salary with benefits and commission. Living within commuting range of the Santa Barbara area is critical – currently the position is remote, but will require on site time post covid19. The initial contract will be extended based on performance.

The position is full-time plus a generous commission compensation

Pay: $3,000.00 – $3,500.00 per month base

Lab Tech 1 (Recruiting in a few months)

A growing environmental research and development company is looking for a laboratory technician to help with basic laboratory tasks including organizing and inventory and participation in experiments (under supervision).
Experience in a chemistry lab and/or light fabrication (drilling, sanding, cutting, bolting, etc.) and/or an automotive shop are a significant plus, opening potential advancement, as is field experience.
Completion of junior year at college or equivalent non college experience as relates to the above noted experience is preferred.

A health and dental plan is available to full time employees after a probationary period. We are looking for a qualified applicant to start immediately.

Two negative CoVid tests will be required separated by a week, and any applicant must be committed to safe Covid practices at work and at home.

Pay: $14.00 – $17.50 per hour

We maintain social distancing as much as possible, have masks that can be changed daily, have plexiglass station barriers, individual HEPA UV air purifiers, an open design with good airflow, do not interact with the public, and reduced workers at the lab.
