Marketing and Business Development Associate

Bubbleology Research International (BRI) is a small, growing, cutting-edge clean-tech and environmental assessment company.

BRI is seeking a business development associate to support sales of our clean tech product lines related to air quality monitoring. Potential clients include utility companies, refineries, O&G fields, air quality agencies, disaster responders, etc. The current product line is based on sales, leasing, expandability, and service contracts.

The business development associate will manage relevant outreach at trade shows, in print media, and on social media, in coordination with our social media coordinator and marketing intern. The business development associate will be expected to screen potential clients and set up sales calls. With experience, advancement to sales representative is expected.

The successful applicant must have several years of technical experience (sales or physical hardware), for example, solar system sales to businesses. Experience closing sales is highly desired. Growth is envisioned through adding product lines and novel technologies to our portfolio.

We are NOT looking for experience in software sales.

BRI has developed a range of world-class, unique technologies related to monitoring air and marine pollution from sensor to in situ to satellite remote sensing, providing significant growth opportunities for the successful applicant.

Compensation will be a combination of salary with benefits and commission. Living in California is critical – the position requires being able to meet potential California clients (our current market focus). The initial contract will include a 3-month trial period, with acceptable performance converting the position to long term. We plan to fill the position as soon as possible.

Lab Technician

A growing environmental research and development company is looking for a laboratory technician to help with basic laboratory tasks including organizing and inventory and participation in experiments (under supervision).

Experience in a chemistry lab and/or light fabrication (drilling, sanding, cutting, bolting, etc.) and/or an automotive shop are a significant plus, opening potential advancement, as is field experience.

Completion of junior year at college or equivalent non college experience as relates to the above noted experience is preferred.

A health and dental plan is available to full time employees after a probationary period. We are looking for a qualified applicant to start immediately.

Two negative CoVid tests will be required separated by a week, and any applicant must be commit to safe Covid practices at work and at home.

Pay: $14.00 – $17.50 per hour
